Pictures from the Walk and Talk event July 21, 2018. A beautiful day to walk the Olivenhain Trails in Encinitas. City Officials, friends and neighbors took an easy 1.93 mile hike starting from the Olivenhain Town Hall lasting about an hour. Looks like a lot of talking going on!

These aka "sharks teeth" have been painted on Lone Jack road. This creates better visibility for vehicles approaching our crossings. Thank you to the City of Encinitas for this improvement.
A new section of the Encinitas Trails system is finished!
This trail connects Rancho Santa Fe rd. at Lone Jack and continues east to the existing Stratford Knoll trail.This segment is a long awaited addition finally completing the trail on Lone Jack rd.
NEW STAMPED CROSSINGS WERE COMPLETED ON LONE JACK RD. AT STRATFORD KNOLL, LITTLE OAKS PARK AND EL CAMINO DEL NORTE. THIS IS A NONSLIP SURFACE WITH ADDED WHITE STRIPING TO MAKE THE CROSSINGS BETTER VISIBLE TO TRAFFIC.
Trail enhancements continue throughout Olivenhain a much needed overhaul at Alpaca Alley!

Street crossings at Lone Jack and Fortuna Ranch. Work starts today and should be finished by the weekend. Two crossings are getting resurfaced and signs.
A tree has fallen across Western Springs trail. The city is aware please use alternate routes.
